Resources supporting healthcare workers to understand and apply social prescribing

We have compiled a database of services in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire which promote social connection and reduce loneliness, many of which are suitable for social prescribing

Based on the NTU Social Identity Group's research into and evaluation of Social Prescribing initiatives, we, along with our collaborators at University of Winchester and London South Bank University have devised a Social Prescribing Toolkit. This Toolkit has been developed as a resource for individuals or organisations that are involved, or who are considering becoming involved in, Social Prescribing.

A document produced by NHS England summarising social prescribing and giving guidance for best practice.

A guide to social prescribing for frontline healthcare workers produced by the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities.

The webpage for the National Academy for Social Prescribing, which has a wealth of resources for healthcare workers.
